Travel incentive programs are based on the underlying premise that employees will be inspired by a desirable external motivator. If they are offered a reward that they find valuable, they will be motivated to obtain this reward through time, effort, and hard work. A reward that is both valuable and attainable, such as an all-expenses-paid travel opportunity for top performers, will produce greater productivity.
