Gavel International Partners with Schaumburg Township Food Pantry

In a world where economic challenges impact many, the Schaumburg Food Pantry offers hope by aiding a diverse population in need. This donation-based pantry, along with its various programs, is dedicated to serving residents facing tough times.

Extending assistance to nearly 700 families, the Schaumburg Food Pantry is making a significant impact on the community. But it takes more than just hope and good intentions to keep the pantry shelves stocked and support flowing.

From December 4 to December 8, 2023, Gavel International was proud to partner with the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry to collect essential items during a food drive. These necessities included canned meats, pasta, soup, baking ingredients, juices, snacks, crackers, paper goods, and hygiene items.

Thanks to generous donations, Gavel International was able to help the Schaumburg Food Pantry collect perishable and non-perishable foods, as well as household, personal, and paper products for those who need it most. This partnership showcases the power of community collaboration and the positive impact it can have on the lives of those facing adversity.

Gavel International and Toys for Tots Make Christmas Brighter

For two decades, Gavel International has been unwavering in its commitment to spread joy to children during the holiday season. Through the Toys for Tots Foundation, Gavel International has brought smiles to the faces of countless children who live in poverty.

However, for Gavel International, the Toys for Tots drive is more than an initiative. It’s a tradition that is eagerly anticipated year after year. It’s part of the heart and soul, and collective staff effort that shares joy throughout the entire year.

Gavel International raised $10,000 for Toys for Tots in 2023. These funds were raised through engaging raffles held throughout the year and by generous contributions of Gavel International employees. 100% of contributions are used to purchase toys and then donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation.

On December 8, 2023 Gavel International hosted a brunch for the Toys for Tots Lake County Marines Corp. During the brunch, the Marines shared that Gavel International was one of the top two contributors in the region. This was exciting news for everyone!

Toys provide the gift of joy to children, spreading Christmas hope and light. To all those who have contributed their time, resources, and finances, Gavel International offers a heartfelt thank you.
